1. UTGSU Office: Hours of Operation for the Summer
From Monday, May 8-August 21, 2017 the UTGSU Office, which includes the Health and Dental Insurance (HDI) Office, will be open from 10:00am-3:00pm from Monday-Thursday and closed on Fridays. Students are able to book an appointment with Executives and Staff on Fridays, depending on the schedule of each individual person. 2. Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is covered in your UTGSU Health and Dental Insurance (HDI) plan. The coverage is for 120 days of each trip. Students who are leaving on a recognized academic exchange are also covered for the duration of their exchange and for another 120 days before and after their approved exchange. They must remain Members of the UTGSU, pay fees to the University of Toronto, including the HDI plan fee, and keep their provincial health-care coverage. 3 Health & Dental Insurance Plan Coverage After Convocation
If you are on the UTGSU Health and Dental Insurance (HDI) Plan, and will be graduating in June, you will still be covered under the plan till the end of the academic year in August, provided you paid the Winter fees. For more information, please view your benefits package on: www.studentcare.ca . 4. Summer International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Drop-In Hours
From May 1-August 11, 2017 the drop-in time for ISIC issuing will be once per week, on Thursdays at 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Appointments are also available outside of the drop-in time. For available appointment times, please email Gail at: fieldworker@utgsu.ca

5. Summer UTGSU Gym Hours
You can book space in the UTGSU Gym on the last Friday of May for June, starting at 10:00, by calling (416) 978-8464. Call early as space goes quickly. Please note that the gym will be closed in August for Orientation preparations. For a full list of times you can reserve the gym for singles badminton, doubles badminton, and when the volleyball, and pick-up basketball leagues run, please visit: UTGSU Summer Gym Hours.

6. UTGSU Conference Bursary: Spring Application
We are excited to share that the UTGSU Conference Bursary is back by popular demand. If you plan on attending a conference sometime between July 1-December 31, 2017, you could be eligible to receive $250 to put towards your conference expenses. 7. Grad Minds: Mental Health Magazine
Are you passionate about student mental health and wellbeing? The University of Toronto will be launching a student-led Mental Health Magazine at our St. George campus. Spearheaded by Grad Minds, this initiative is aimed at promoting mental health awareness on campus, advancing our current knowledge/perception, and creating a community of support through an engaging and empowering communication platform. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate students to join our editorial team. 8. The Muslims are Coming: A Discussion Series
This event is part of a series which aims to create a critical conversation space for people who have some connection to Muslim identity including through family, history, and/or culture. People who identify as practicing, non-practicing, or something in between are all welcome. This space centres the experiences of Black and racialized Muslims and in particular the voices of queer, trans, disabled and mad people. The Muslims Are Coming! is a monthly discussion series organized by SBA and CWTP. Date: Tuesday May 24; Time: 2:30pm-4:30pm; Location: 246 Bloor Street West Room 720, 7th floor. Full description and access info: The Muslims are ComingContact Nadia at: sba.advocacycoordinator@gmail.com for any other access needs.

9. Graduate Student Parent Circle
Happening on Monday, May 15 from 12:00-2:00pm in the Hart House, Committees Room. Connect and unwind with other University of Toronto graduate students who have or are about to have children. Share resources, talk about what is important to you, get support and enjoy relaxing craft activities! Pizza will be ordered. All University of Toronto expectant and graduate student parents are welcome. Registration at: Graduate Student Parent Circle. A collaborate initiative of the Family Care Office, the UTGSU, Grad Life, and Hart House.

10. Women’s & Children’s Health – Graduate Speaker Series
On Tuesday, May 30th (5:30pm – 7pm), the folks at Grad Room will be discussing women’s and children’s health as part of the monthly Graduate Speaker Series. The topics of discussion will include preterm-birth and complications during pregnancy. Please register at: Women’s & Children’s Health Registration. 11. Grad Escape: Games Night at Hart House
On May 25, from 7-9pm, join fellow grad students for a fun games night at Hart House! A selection of games will be available including: Catan, Code Names, Exploding Kittens, Ticket to Ride, and more.
