1. Gradfest: Volunteer for UTGSU Gradfest
The UTGSU is excited to kick off the 2017-2018 academic year with Gradfest, our annual orientation BBQ and Info Fair on Wednesday, September 6th from 4-8PM.  We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable UTGSU members to participate! To volunteer, please contact Ally at communications@utgsu.ca with your name, preferred email, phone number and availability between 12 and 9PM.  Duties will include, but are not limited to: setting up, running activities, assisting info fair participants and clean-up. Volunteers will receive a gift card. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your Union and meet folks from all over the university. We look forward to hearing from you.

2. Free Graduate Student Intramurals
The UTGSU, with support from SGS, have subsidized costs for all graduate students to
participate in free intramural sports. To gauge what sports, teams and divisions graduate students
are interested in having, we ask you fill out the following form: Graduate Student Intramurals. This will help the Intramural Coordinator tailor the Intramural session for the Fall Semester. Stay tuned for an email
at in Mid-September for a confirmed list of sports, teams and divisions for the Fall semester. If you

3. International Student Identity Card (ISIC): Drop-in Hours for August
ISIC is free for all graduate students who are members of the UTGSU, and can be used for travel discounts, accommodations, clothing, and more. If you would like to pick one up or renew your card, you can stop by the UTGSU Office, located at 16 Bancroft in the basement office. Our drop-in hours for August are Thursdays, 2-3 PM or by appointment. If you have any questions, please call 416-978-2391 or email us at info@utgsu.ca.

4. Grad Minds Recruiting Executives
Grad Minds is recruiting executive positions for the 2017-18 academic year. A number of leadership and other positions are available. Applicants MUST be registered graduate students at the University of Toronto. Details about the available positions are attached. To apply, please send a brief resume (max. 2 pages) highlighting your interest and/or experience in student leadership to mentalhealth@utgsu.ca by September 8th, 2017.
