The Varsity: Graduate Student Referendum

The Varsity is a University of Toronto not-for-profit student-run newspaper. On February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2018, The Varsity will be holding a referendum through The University of Toronto’s U-elecT system (which can be found here asking graduate students to join The Varsity as Members and pay a $0.80 levy fee per semester. Currently, graduate students are not Members of The Varsity and do not pay a levy fee.
The UTGSU Executive Committee asks that each student makes an informed decision and participate in the vote, regardless if they are in favour or in opposition to the referendum question.
