1. Health and Dental Insurance Opt-Out Cheques
Health and Dental Insurance opt-out cheques will be mailed out starting Friday, March 16, 2018. Direct Deposit reimbursements will be made starting Thursday, March 15, 2018.  You should have received an application number after you opted-out. That is your confirmation that your opt-out was successful. If you do not receive a reimbursement by April 15, 2018, please send an email to health@utgsu.ca, and forward the email with the confirmation number and your student number and we will investigate your opt out.

2. UTGSU Summer Office Hours
The UTGSU office and HDI office will be reverting to a summer schedule from May 1st, 2018 to August 11, 2018. Our summer hours will be Mondays to Wednesdays from 10 am to 3 pm and Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm. The UTGSU office and HDI office will be closed on Fridays, however, folks will have the option of booking appointments with staff. Please email info@utgsu.ca.

3. UTGSU Gym Summer Schedule
The UTGSU Gym summer schedule is now available on our website. Reservations for the month of May will be taken on April 26, 2018, beginning at 10 AM by emailing gym@utgsu.ca or by calling 416-978-8464 for the Summer Schedule. Check out the UTGSU Gym Summer Schedule Page for more information.

4.UTGSU Conference Bursary: Now Accepting for Spring 2018 Cycle
The UTGSU is now accepting applications for the Spring 2018 Conference Bursary. The UTGSU Conference Bursary was created to assist students with financial expenses that arise from attending academic conferences. For more information, visit: 2018/2019 Spring Conference Bursary

5. Graduate Wellness Portal Now Live
Looking for mental health services, resources, or academic supports? Need to talk to someone about your experiences of supervision? Visit the new Graduate Wellness Portal (http://uoft.me/wellnessportal), a collaboration between the UTGSU and the School of Graduate Studies. Access FAQs, tip sheets, and a directory of U of T and community resources—and send your feedback, questions, or content suggestions to sgs.communications@utoronto.ca!

6.The SGS Summer Gym Bursary Application Opens May 15
If you are a registered doctoral-stream student planning to be on campus this summer, strike a balance between work and play by purchasing a summer gym membership at an athletics facility on St. George campus. 9. Get Involved with Students For Barrier Free Access (SBA)
SBA is opening up the nomination process for members to become a part of the Board of Directors for Fall 2018 – Winter 2019 academic year. Join SBA for their information session on Wednesday, May 16th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm to meet our current Board of Directors and to learn more about the work we do! 10. Call for Student Parent Mentors for the 2018/2019 academic year
Can you spare 1-2 hours a month? We are looking for graduate & undergraduate student parents who have been at U of T for at least one year and can share their practical skills on how to balance studies and family life.
