1. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is covered in your UTGSU Health and Dental Insurance plan. The coverage is for 120 days of each trip. Students who are leaving on a recognized academic exchange are also covered for the duration of their exchange and for another 120 days before and after their approved exchange. They must remain members of the UTGSU, pay fees to University of Toronto including the Health Plan fee and keep their provincial health-care coverage. 2. Health & Dental Insurance Plan Coverage After Convocation
If you are on the UTGSU Health and Dental Insurance Plan (i.e. if you had paid the Winter fees), and you are graduating in June, you will still be covered under the plan until August 31, 2018. For more information, please view your benefits package on www.studentcare.ca. If you require additional help, email the Health and Dental Office at health@utgsu.ca.

3. UTGSU Summer Office Hours
The UTGSU office and HDI office will be reverting to a summer schedule from May 1st, 2018 to August 11, 2018. Our summer hours will be Mondays to Wednesdays from 10 am to 3 pm and Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm. The UTGSU office and HDI office will be closed on Fridays, however, folks will have the option of booking appointments with staff. Please email info@utgsu.ca.

5. UTGSU Spring Cycle Conference Bursary 2018 Winners
Emails have been sent out to the winners of the Spring Cycle 2018 UTGSU Conference Bursary. If you haven’t received an email stating that you’ve been awarded a bursary, your application was not among those selected.

6. SEARCH: New Members for UTGSU Policy & Operations Standing Committee (POC)
Important work begins this summer by the Policy & Operations Standing Committee of the UTGSU Council, which oversees the Union’s legislation and governance practices. Work would involve meetings every 2-3 weeks and email consultations. It will range from preparation of the POC Legislative Agenda, to editorial streamlining of existing documentation, to top-level re-conceptualization in view of the Ontario Non-profit Corporation Act (ONCA), as well as housekeeping bylaws/policies concerning appeals, elections, and UTGSU’s own student mental & overall health legislation. In preparing your application, you can consult the POC Terms of Reference in the current Bylaw and Policy Handbook (versions February 2017). Please briefly list any relevant prior experience legislating for student associations. We welcome motivated U of T Graduate Students who are willing to learn from scratch as well as those with any experience or interest in constitutional, corporate, and human rights law, policy and equity studies, or political philosophy. 7. Sexual Violence and Harassment Prevention in Fieldwork
Does your degree program involve fieldwork? Are you interested in working to develop a set of guidelines aimed to prevent sexual violence and harassment in the field and support survivors? If so, please contact Sam Stead at governance@utgsu.ca 

8. Parya Trillium Foundation Scholarship Program for Iranian Students

9. GPS Conflict Resolution Fundamentals
 On August 21, 22 and 23 2018, 10am-12pm, The Graduate Conflict Resolution Centre is hosting a series of 3 workshops to help graduate students understand what conflict is and the role of effective communication and negotiation in conflict resolution. This event will be held at the Grad Room, 66 Harbord Street and is available only to graduate level University of Toronto students. Students will have an opportunity to practice various strategies for resolving and de-escalating conflict.  Registration is for all 3 workshops (Completion = 2 GPS credits). 10. Online Chat for Student Families
Get the information you need from the comfort of your own computer/phone. On Wednesday, July 25th from 3 pm to 4 pm, a Family Care Advisor will be available to chat and answer questions on child care & child care subsidies, schools & children programs, integrating study and family (and work as well), and any other questions about being a student parent and a student partner at U of T. Please register at family.care@utoronto.ca and link will be emailed to you. All prospective, new, current U of T student parents and their partner/spouse are welcome to attend!
