The UTGSU Gym is located at 16 Bancroft Ave in the UTGSU Building.

Gym Bookings

The UTGSU gym can be booked for 1 hour per week by graduate students for athletics. The UTGSU gym can also be booked for weekly one-hour sessions for the duration of an entire month.

To reserve, please call Heidi R. Krieger between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm at 416.978.8464 or email gym@utgsu.ca. To book weekly one-hour sessions for an entire month, you must call on the last Friday of the preceding month at 10am. For January bookings, please call on December 11.

UTGSU Gym Schedule: October through April (2015-2016)

1. Monday to Wednesday Evenings are reserved for UTGSU Volleyball League: 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm

The UTGSU Volleyball League takes place from Monday to Wednesday evenings in the Fall and Winter terms.

2. Thursday Evenings reserved for Pick-up Recreational Basketball: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

One-hour timeslots are available for basketball on Thursday evenings prior to pick-up basketball.

Pick-up Recreational Basketball: Grab your running shoes and join your fellow grad students in the UTGSU gym on Thursdays from 7 – 10 PM. Balls are available at the bar. Have your ID available while you are here.

3. Friday Evenings reserved for Doubles Badminton:

Registered graduate students may book the gym for doubles badminton on Friday evenings for one hour per week.

4. Daytime Bookings: 10 am to 5 pm Year Round

Daytime gym use is restricted to quiet activities such as yoga, meditation and singles badminton. Names and Student ID numbers are verified when booking.

*Only registered graduate students may play pick-up volleyball or basketball. Gym violations will result in a booking privilege suspension for four months.
