Pharmacy claims can be processed immediately using Pay-Direct card.

Benefit Coverage Period

For students who start their program in September, their coverage begins September 1st and ends on August 31st.  Unless you graduate at the end of the fall semester or leave your program at the end of the fall semester, your coverage is terminated on December 31st because you are not charged winter fees.  For students who start their program in January, their coverage begins on January 1st and ends on August 31st.  For students who are finishing their program in April, you have paid winter fees, therefore, your coverage expires August 31st.

Family Coverage

You may enroll your spouse (including a common law or same sex partner) and/or children as your dependents at the beginning of your first eligible term. Visit www.studentcare.ca for current rates and applications forms. You must apply in the first term in which you are registered (proof required).

CUPE 3902 Top-up Plans

In order to be eligible for the CUPE 3902 Top Up Plan you MUST be a member of CUPE 3902 Unit 1 and have been employed for 50 hours of work during the plan year (September 1st to August 31st). You MUST also be enrolled in the UTGSU Health and Dental Plan.  Email info@cupe3902.org or call (416) 593-7057.
